Liebherr Group is one of the world's biggest construction equipment manufacturers.
Liebherr-Nizhny Novgorod OOO is a construction equipment plant in the town of Dzerzhinsk. It was officially inaugurated in June 2011 and production activity started since February 2012. Liebherr-Nizhny Novgorod OOO manufactures hydraulic components, transmissions and steel components for earthmoving machines and tower cranes. The site will also be used by Liebherr-Aerospace Nizhny Novgorod OOO to manufacture and service components for the aeronautical industry.
The planned investment volume for the whole project will amount to more than € 200 million. With this investment, the Liebherr group will create more than 600 permanent new jobs in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The construction of the production site underlines Liebherr's long-term commitment in Russia and the Nizhny Novgorod region.
