Division Trosifol of German company KSE GmbH is one of the world's largest producers of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) films.
In 2003 Trosifol opened a daughter company Troplast in Bor, Nizhny Novgorod region, which is nowadays called Trosifol. The plant with the capacity of 2,500 tons of PVB films per year is located on a 20,000-square-meter site.
Today most of Russian producers of automobile and architectural laminated glass know and use PVB films Trosifol and Trolen. Among them are such companies as Bor Glass Plant, Saratovsteklo, Mosavtosteklo, BAMO Float Glass and others.
