ICANN held online meeting with Linguistic University of Nizhny Novgorod with the participation of the Department of external relations of the Nizhny Novgorod region Government.

ICANN Board members together with the Department of external relations of the Nizhny Novgorod region Government held a meeting with the rector of Linguistic University of Nizhny Novgorod Zhanna Nikonova.

Participants of the videoconference discussed development of cooperation in the context of ICANN activities and, in particular, MOST educational project. Rector of the Linguistic University Zhanna Nikonova told about launching of new master’s programmes in the University and about human resource capacity for ICANN companies.

ICANN President Yngvar Bratsberg highlighted that the international community interacted with the Linguistic University from the first years of ICANN existence and expressed willingness to establish closer ties.

As a result of the meeting, colleagues agreed to maintain further communication and joint actions.
