ICANN President Elena Dovgal attended the videoconference with the director of the external relations department of the Nizhny Novgorod region government Olga Guseva.
The event was held with the involvement of the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nizhny Novgorod Sergey Malov.
Colleagues expressed willingness to cooperate and called ICANN a unique organization that connects international companies and authorities.
At the meeting Olga Guseva invited ICANN members to participate in upcoming events, in particular XII winter fishing festival «Chkalovskaya fishing - 2021» and international cooperation forum «InterVolga - 2021» were discussed.
Elena Dovgal states that the ICANN Association is open to fruitful work and joint events organization as soon as the situation will be eased.
ICANN interacts with the external relations department of the Nizhny Novgorod region government and the regional department of the Foreign Affairs Russian Ministry since the moment of Association foundation in 1997.
